Things may look a little different around here. But we're still the same company we've always been. For over 30 years, libraries have been our only focus as we build reliable systems to help them run more efficiently and free up staff to focus on what matters most: their communities.
In the end, it all comes back to our four values that guide us in everything we do.
Wherever you meet us, whether it's our sales team, our engineers, or our support team, you'll find the same four values at work.
Our solutions are built to last. We design for longevity, because a system that needs constant attention isn't really solving the problem. Reliable technology means fewer interruptions for your staff and a more consistent experience for your patrons.
Libraries are full of different people, and we've created a cast of characters to reflect that. Each one has their own story and their own relationship with the systems that shape their library experience. You'll meet them across our platforms as they help us show how technology can solve real challenges in real libraries.
“I've seen a lot of systems come and go. The good ones get out of the way and let you focus on the people.”
Oscar has worked in libraries for over two decades, long enough to remember the card catalogue, and curious enough to embrace everything that's come since. Originally from Lebanon, he brings a warm, unhurried presence to every interaction. He's the kind of colleague who remembers not just where a book is shelved, but why you were looking for it.

“To be honest, I'm just here for the books and to help people. Everything else just needs to work.”
Ida joined the library straight out of university and hasn't looked back. With a background in literature and a tendency to recommend books to strangers unprompted, she was always going to end up here. She's the newest face on the team, enthusiastic, a little idealistic, and genuinely excited by the job.

“I didn't think a library would be my kind of place. But it's easy to get around, and there's always something going on that makes me come back.”
Leo came for a photography exhibition and somehow never really left. These days it's talks, gaming nights, and some familiar faces he now considers friends.

“We started bringing Penny when she was just a baby, and somehow it just stuck. Now they all have their own reasons for coming, which I think is kind of the point.”
The Reed family has been coming to the library since Penny was big enough to sit through a picture book. These days, Saturday mornings are their thing. Penny heads straight for the children's section, Alex finds a quiet corner to study, Simon picks up whatever he has on hold, and Laura browses until she finds something she didn't know she was looking for. They rarely leave with fewer than five books between them.

“I've been coming here for decades. The faces change, the technology changes, but it always feels like the same place.”
Carla has been coming to this library longer than most of the staff have been alive. She comes at least twice a week, for the book club, the morning talks, and the occasional help with her tablet. She's not always sure how to find what she's looking for, but she's never afraid to ask. At this point, the staff know her by name.

“A system is only as good as the people running it. That's the part I care most about.”
Anders is the person libraries call when something needs fixing, and the one who makes sure they rarely have to. He installs and services Lyngsoe equipment on site, runs training sessions for library staff, and picks up the phone when something goes wrong. Some might say he's married to his job, but he'd probably just say he likes getting things right. For Anders, the job isn't done until the people using the equipment feel confident with it.
